Pedi’s with a Pachyderm

Yesterday was AMAZING!!

I can’t thank the ladies at R-West PR and Pink & White Nails enough! Not to mention the folks at Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey.

It was so unbelievably cool to..

• 1. Get a pedicure outside
• 2. Meet the Zingmaster Alex, Larry, Todd, and Ivan the clowns.
• 3. Stand within 3 feet of a BE-U-TI-FUL 41 year old Asian Elephant named “Asia”

When we arrived we were greeted by Molly from R-West and then encouraged to sit right down and get my toes did. They had gigantic coloring books for the kids and clown noses that were too funny because Ink’s and A’s noses are so small that they wouldn’t stay on.

Then out comes Zingmaster Alex, Larry, Todd and Ivan. They bounded right over and started chatting with the kids and us. I have to say I was a little star-struck!

Larry introduced everyone and said some really great things about us mom’s. *blush*

Then we got to see them do some tricks! Zingmaster Alex is an awesome magician and Larry showed off his skills with the Japanese Yo-yo. The kids were amazed and I have to say I was too!

After Alex was done we got the treat we had been waiting for…in walks Asia. Now, I’ve seen an elephant at the zoo but nothing really compares to being 3 feet from one. She was magnificent and a star in her own right! You see in the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey show Zing Zang Zoom, Zingmaster Alex makes Asia disappear!

The kids have talked non-stop about the day. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make it to the show, it just won’t fit in the budget, but this is an experience my kids won’t soon forget!

Ink was squinting because of the sun by A wasn’t gonna smile for anything.
