The last time we went to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, otherwise known as OMSI, we stopped off at the gift shop and my son picked out a foam airplane as a treat. He loved that thing! He would play outside for hours with it. One day we took it on a play date and well, boys will be boys, and it was basically torn apart.

Fast forward several months and I got an email from Monkey Business Sports offering a review opportunity. I clicked on their website to check out their products and my son walks behind me. The next thing I hear is, “Hey! I want that! Look, it’s just like my plane I lost!” That pretty much sealed the deal.

Thankfully, Monkey Business Sports is located in Portland so it only took about 2 days for our toy to get to us.

Bungee_plane_boy_outdoor_play_toyWe received the Bungee Plane .->

This super cool plane flies up to 20 feet in the air! It features an easy to use control stick that is tethered to the plane.

The body of the Bungee Plane is made out of soft foam, so you don’t have to worry about the kids getting hurt if they lose control and hit themselves or a brother or sister.

The other cool thing is, see the propeller in the front? It actually spins AND makes noise as the Bungee Plane is flying!

The Bungee Plane costs $15 and comes with an extra bungee cord, just in case, and is recommended for kids ages 5 and up.

My son is 4 and he was able to play with the toy, but didn’t quite have the coordination to fly it using only the control stick. He still had a lot of fun and when the weather cooperates has been outside playing with it.

It’s really hard to describe the fun had with the Bungee Plane so we decided to make a little video!

Now it’s YOUR turn to GET OUT AND PLAY!

Monkey Business Sports has been kind enough to offer one of my readers their very own Bungee Plane!

We have 3 boys and a “Tomboy” girl. Oh what a fun site this Monkey Business Sports is!!! Great ideas for birthdays and Christmas. The thing I like about the site the best is ALL the prices are reasonable. Nothing outrageous. Our favorite item would have to be Monkey Business Sports Compound Bow X2™. The lazzo is really cute too. I’ve always got “cowboys and indians” going around my house!

Thanks for the great giveaway. I did the top 3 (MBS twitter and facebook fan and favorite item here) to qualify and now I will work on the next ones.

    Abundant blessings of JOY!

The “Top Spin Table Tennis” set is soooo cool. I love the idea they had of using a furniture-safe net to turn any table into a pseudo-ping pong table.

  20. I love the slingshot. All the neighborhood kids gather around regularly, and each bring their Nerf guns and the like, and it becomes all out warfare in our front yards! I love seeing the kids out interacting, instead of being inside sitting on the computer, or watching tv.
