My Unofficial Holiday Gift Guide

I’m slowly realizing that perhaps I should have done a holiday gift guide this year. However, this being my first year with my blog, I’m still sorta learning the ropes.

Soooo.

I decided to have an Unofficial Holiday Gift Guide. It’s just miscellaneous things that I’ve had in my cache of goodies. And yes, I really do have a cache of items that I have kept aside to post about this time of year. See what I mean? I should have just done a gift guide.

Anywho, the benefit is that several of the items will be giveaways as well! YAY, to you all!

So let’s get started shall we?

I decided to start with a GIVEAWAY!

A couple months ago I was sent the new DVD My Little Pony : Twinkle Wish Adventure. Twinkle Wish Adventure was released in October and has since been a big success!

Let me just say that my 2 year old was SO excited to get this! Often the reviews for toys I get are more for my son and she at times feels left out. This was something that was just for her.

She watches it at lease 3 times a week. She would watch it more if I let her! She knows several of the songs and will sing and dance along with them.

One thing that I love is that this is how I remember the Little Ponies. They haven’t tried to update them or use special effects, because it didn’t need it. I can sit and watch the feature with my daughter and share something with her from my childhood!

The plot is really simple. The ponies are getting ready for their Winter Wishes Festival. It’s a pretty big deal since the Wishing Star grants each pony a special wish. But the Wishing Star disappears and it’s up to the ponies to find it! They set off on a journey where they learn that working together and being a good friend is the greatest wish of all!

I’d say this gift would be perfect for any little girl ages 2-6yrs old, but who am I to limit it at just that age? Shoot, I like this movie!
