And the only prescription is:
With a “..contagious and unexpected blend of reggae, rock, disco, rock, Latin, klezmer and “Jewgrass”,” Chanukah Fever is a hip, fun, can’t stop your toe tapping, experience!
It doesn’t matter if you’re Jewish. Okay, wait, let me back up.
When I was contacted about this review I was a bit hesitant. I’m not Jewish, the closest I come to being Jewish is saying “Oy!” periodically.
But, I am a mother and I want my children to be exposed to different cultures and religions. I don’t want my kids to look at others strangely because they are different physically or spiritually. So, naturally I signed up and I’m really glad I did.
The first time we listened to Mama Doni my kids couldn’t sit still. This isn’t abnormal for them by any means but the real kicker was the 2nd time we listened to it. Not only were my kids dancing along but they started listening to the words. This opened up a complete conversation with my 4 year old. He asked all sorts of questions about Chanukah, so many in fact that I had to Google a lot of them so that I could answer him correctly.
Chanukah Fever was released on November 24th. If you celebrate Chanukah then this is a great addition to your holiday library and if you don’t then this is a great way to broaden your kids and get your groove on at the same time!
