I don’t know about you, but the only thing I hate worse than being sick is my kids being sick. And Lord help us all if we are sick at the same time!

With young kids, it’s becoming harder and harder to find cold/flu medicine that they can take to relieve some symptoms and allow them to get the rest that they need.

Luckily, the dosing for Triaminic Thin Strips starts at 4 years of age. And the thin strip are so easy for my 4 (almost 5) year old to take.

Well, Triaminic hasn’t stopped with just offering a great cold & flu product. They have also launched a National Cold & Flu Symptom Tracker. You can check by state and then a city near you to see the level of cold & flu symptoms. The information is updated weekly by a source used by the CDC.

Triaminic has also partnered with the National Assoc. of School Nurses to put together Sick Day Guidelines. Because, let’s face it. It’s hard to tell when your child just has a runny nose or if their body is trying to fight something off.

So, if you’re like me you like to be ahead of the 8 ball when your kids get sick. You don’t want to have to make a late night run to the drug store to pick up medicine and you definitely don’t want to have to do it with a sick child in tow. To get you ready here is a coupon for Triaminic Thin Strips.
Triaminic has also generously offered to give  2 of my readers a 4 box pack of Thin Strips to get you read for the peak Cold & Flu season!

Ok my old fashion remedy did absolutely nothing to help a cold. My Grandma, and then my Mother when we got sick would make us a cup of tea and toast chunks (toast cut into little squares with lots of butter) I know it didnt medically do anything, but it always has made us feel better. I still have it when I am sick!!!!

I believe in drinking lots of fluids. But to clear a stuffy head, I boil a pan of water, and inhale the steam under a towel.

I remember my mom making a drink out of a shot of whiskey, lemon and rock candy and heating it up before drinking it. She said it would knock anything out!
