For Northwesters!

If you’re like me Spring Break means a time to practice and gear up for Summer. The time when the kids will be home all day and will be getting on each others nerves. The time when I need to get my butt in gear and figure out things to do with the kids to keep them entertained.

Well, if you’re looking to do something as a family during Spring Break then look no further than the Energy Trust Better Living Show.

Featuring over 300 exhibitors, the show is your one stop for anything and everything for the sustainably minded.

Not only that but this year PGE will be hosting a Planet Kids area. It will offer a fun place for kids of all ages to learn about nature and ways to save energy. Some of the activities include: An Oregon Adventure with Radio Disney, Story Time with Mt. Hood National Forest in an over-sized salmon-shaped tent, Learning About the Inside and Outside of Salmon with Dissecting Lessons Lead by a Biologist and more!

And the best part is it’s FREE!!

So head out to the Portland Expo Center March 26th-28th.. tell them Mad Hatter Mom sent you, and then watch as they look at you funny. 🙂

How cool! If we were in OR we’d totally be there. I know we’re closer than most, but that’s still a bit of a drive. 😉 I am all for the youngins learning about nature — get them OUTSIDE and unplugged! Sounds like a great event.
