Pamper your Cruiser

Last month I told you all about the great new campaign from Pampers in conjunction with the 2010 Winter Olympics. I hope you all took advantage and headed over to the Pampers website and requested your free sample pack of the new Pampers Cruisers with Dry-Max; if you haven’t had a chance there is still time!

The good folks at Pampers were nice enough to send me over a package of Cruisers with Dry-Max for me to check out while watching the Olympics. Although the Olympics were quite exciting at times, (the U.S. 4 man bobsled win was AMAZING,) I personally didn’t require the Cruisers. Plus, my kids are both out of diapers now and I wasn’t willing to risk a fall off the wagon by letting them try them out, so I conducted a few scientific tests.

One of the things that drove me nuts when my kids were babies and in diapers was the first diaper of the morning. When I would go to change them, their bottoms would be damp from the amount of liquid in their diaper and we all know that this leads to diaper rash. This was a big test in my book. I took out one of the Cruisers, which by they way have super cute Sesame Street characters on them, and poured 8oz of water into the diaper. I placed a blown up balloon in the diaper and fastened it up and let it sit for 6 hours. Once the time had passed I took a tissue and place it on the balloon where it had been touching the diaper. I will admit that the tissue did stick to the balloon due to some dampness but it was VERY minimal and not all over.

Of course I can’t tell you what diaper to go and buy, but if you are looking for a diaper that will whisk away wetness for up to 12 hours and has less bulk that other diapers then I encourage you to try our new Pampers Cruisers with Dry-Max.
