Very Spectacular Vino..

When I moved to the Willamette Valley, I was in heaven. It’s beautiful here. There are rolling hills, deep valley and acres and acres of wine grapes. If you’re not familiar with the Willamette Valley it’s also known as Oregon Wine Country. Shoot there are over 80 wineries within 20 miles of me!

Willamette ValleyThe North Willamette Vintners are hosting the North Willamette Wine Trail Weekend April 10th and 11th. You can visit 21 neighboring wineries which are located minutes from Portland. Tickets for the event cost $35 if you purchase them by today! They will be $45 starting tomorrow which is still a good price when you see what you are getting.

At each winery you will treated to wine tastings, food, entertainment and activities. You’ll get the chance to taste new releases, reserve labels or a barrel tasting while enjoying specially paired food and desserts. Again, this is all included with the cost of your ticket! And if that weren’t enough each ticket holder will also receive a commemorative 2010 wine glass and a reusable wine tote filled with discounts and special offers.

Oh, and don’t forget your designated driver! Designated driver tickets are only $10 and they will receive a Wine Trail Survival Kit which includes a commemorative stainless water bottle, a reusable wine tote filled with snacks, maps and other essentials to enjoy through the weekend as well as a variety of discounts and special offers. Each designated driver is treated to complimentary food and entertainment at each winery…all the same benefits as your friends holding full ticket except the wine!

So if you love wine or even just love visiting wineries than this is the event for you!

You can purchase your ticket by visiting the North Willamette Vintners website.

  1. I’m not a big wine drinker, but that sounds like a lot of fun! I’ve always wanted to visit a winery.

  2. You are very fortunate to live around such beautiful scenery. I wish I lived closer because I would LOVE to be a designated driver and enjoy the scenery & fun without the wine. Hope you have a great time!

  3. This is one of the things I miss most about Oregon! I went to school in the middle of wine country, and it is just incredibly beautiful. Of course, the wine tours were nice too 😉
