Last week I told you about how I’m filling the void now that one of my favorite shows is done for the season (“High Drama 2” is an original web series, view it now on TheWB.com.)
Well I have gotten completely hooked on this web series. I have to say I’m quite bummed that each show is only about 5 minutes long! I would be happy to watch for 30 minutes or more!
The show brings back so many memories of high school, good and bad. I just finished watching the final episodes and was totally relating to listening to the kids talk about how theater has impacted their life. Tony’s story really touched me. Here was a kid that struggled through and didn’t know if he wanted to try out for a lead in the play because learning the lines was hard for him. But he did it and theater has taught him courage and confidence.
When I was in high school sports came pretty easy to me but I was scared to try out for golf because I hadn’t really played it and didn’t know if I would be any good. As it turned out golf came naturally but I still learned so much from the game. To be patient, courteous, and respectful. Golf is an individual sport and I learned to rely on myself when I got into a jam. Now that I’m older these lessons still ring true. I’m confident in my abilities as a wife and mother. Even though it is a learning process I don’t get down on myself, I just enjoy the ride.
If you haven’t watched any of the “High Drama 2” series you really should. The complete season is on TheWB.com now.
Here’s the final episode 😉
*Disclosure:I have been hired by Warner Bros WBWord to raise awareness for ‘High Drama 2.
