I’m a sucker for jewelry. Although I only wear a few pieces everyday like my wedding ring, earrings, and my gold cross necklace that my husband gave me for my 29th birthday. (And yes it was REALLY my 29th birthday not the 2nd anniversary of my 29th birthday.)

I’ve come to realize that the jewelry I choose to wear always has a meaning or is something that I hold close to my heart. Susan K. Jewelry offers customized jewelry that will be meaningful and held close to the heart of the recipient.

Susan offered to make me one of her Mom Custom Stamped Necklaces personalized with the names of my children. They are quite popular and once I received it I fell in love. After taking some photo’s outside near our grapes, (isn’t that color gorgeous??) I really inspected the craftsmanship. The names are hand struck and the metal has a brushed finish. I love the box chain that came with the necklace too. I’ve order other jewelry that has come with a cheap chain or even a nylon cord. The box shape of the links catches the light so it almost looks as if it’s sparkling.

I put it on that day and I have not taken it off since. Where ever I am I can touch the necklace and feel like my kids are with me. They also love that I wear something with their names on it. They like to point out which on is theirs.

Susan doesn’t just create pendants, she also crafts earrings, key chains, rings and more. Here is a little more about Susan.

Ever since I was a child, I was always creating and learning as many new mediums as possible.I presently love working with different metals such as copper, silver and brass as well as the textures that one can create with them. I have also found joy in giving back to others by teaching for the past three years and passing on the knowledge that I have acquired. I have enjoyed the new friendships and sharing the passion to create as well. I hope you enjoy my jewelry creations and hope they make you feel good. I make necklaces,bracelets,earrings,rings and accessories. Many of my items are personalized with names, dates, initials or quotes. I love working with mixed metals such as copper,sterling silver and brass as well as semiprecious stones. I especially enjoy hand stamping and hammering. Before I go I just have to share another piece of Susan’s that I am absolutely in love with! There earrings are simply gorgeous in my opinion. Excluding the pearls, everything is handmade on these, including the ear wires.
