There’s a new show over on Playhouse Disney.
Timmy Time is a show about a young lamb who is used to being the center of attention in his family, but Timmy is about to have his whole world rocked. Timmy is sent to nursery where he must learn to share and think about others feelings instead of just his own.
With the help of his trusty teachers, Harriet Heron and Osbourne Owl, plus the rest of the nursery kids, Timmy will get it right in the end.
My daughter and I were sent a couple of episodes to watch before the show debuted on Disney. We really enjoyed it! Probably what I like, which may sounds weird, is that even though all the characters in Timmy Time are animals they don’t speak. The show is still able to get the point across with the animals making their natural sounds. I’ve always been annoyed by talking animals. 🙂
The other reason that I like this is it required my daughter to really pay attention and decipher not just words but body language and facial expressions.
It’s a great show to watch together with your kids so be sure to check it out. You can watch it on Playhouse Disney weekdays at 7/6 central.
*Disclosure: My family was sent complimentary episodes of Timmy Time in order to give our honest opinion of the show. We were not compensated in any other way.*
