I gLOVE My Agloves! {ENDED}

agloves hear see speakI’ve had a touch screen phone for over 2 years now.

I remember when I got my first touch screen phone, I was super excited. I was touching it all the time just so everyone could see how cool I was. Ok, how cool I thought I was. Then fall came.

Fall in Oregon is chilly. It doesn’t take long for the temperature to go from the 70’s to the 30’s. When the temp made that drop gloves were a required accessory. This is fine and dandy and all but it was at that point that I realized there was a significant downside to having a touch screen phone. Every time I needed to reply to a text, or make a phone call, off the glove went and my hand would lose all the heat that had accumulated.

This is no bueno!

I’ve toyed with the idea of cutting off just one of the fingers of the gloves but then that finger would constantly be cold and that seemed really odd to me. So I’ve just forgone gloves.

Fast forward a couple years and I now have my Droid. I love my Droid X, I still covet the iPhone but until it’s available on my carrier I am perfectly content with my new BFF. With this new phone I was forced to face my glove dilemma once more.

Thankfully, it’s not a pain in the tuckus dilemma anymore!

Agloves are, well, gloves. But these gloves are like the Michael Jordan of gloves! Not only are then thin but warm, they are made with a “silver-coated nylon that evens out temperatures in your hand and traps your body’s own heat inside the gloves.” The silver is also what makes these gloves work with capacitive touch screens, (screens that use electrical properties of the human body to detect when and where on a display the user touching,) like iPhones, iPads, Droid X, etc.

Don’t believe me that these bad boys work? Well check this out!

I told you! They. Are. Amazing!

They keep my hands super toasty and I love that they aren’t bulky and fit snuggly on my hands. Not only that, but they are extremely accurate. When I have them on and start texting it’s no different than if I didn’t have gloves on at all.

If you have a loved one who has a special connection with their touch screen device, these are a perfect gift idea. You can purchase Agloves at their website. They cost $17.99 and although you may feel that that’s a little steep for a pair of gloves, trust me they are worth every penny. And your hands will thank you!

Still a little skeptical? Perhaps, I had you at gloves. Either way I am giving away a pair of Agloves to one lucky reader!

    Why are they called Agloves?
    Agloves derive their name from the periodic table of the elements’ symbol for silver. Silver is the key ingredient that allows Agloves to actually work on touch screens, so we had to incorporate it into the name.
