Living in the Pacific Northwest, our Spring is typically very WET!
But even in the wet and cold, we still get excited about the prospect of warm, sunny days that are just around the corner.
I’m always looking for things that the kids can do indoors and occupy them with limited prep work on my part. Call me lazy, I just consider myself smart. 🙂
We dug into the pantry and started looking for supplies for a quick craft that could double as a snack. The kids grabbed a paper plate, peanut butter and the box of Cheerios.
I asked the kids to create a picture that made them think of Spring. After a brief minute of thinking it over, their creative juices flowed.
So what did they create you ask? Well a flower and a rocket of course. 🙂
And with their creations came new ideas of how to spend the first day of Spring. Picking some flowers and of course flying a rocket (kite).
So regardless of how you spend your Winter days, start thinking now about those Spring days because Spring is about to be sprung! How are you going to spend them with your family?
