This is it!
The Final Countdown!
This is the last week for the Move it Lose it Challenge. I can’t believe it! It seems like we just started, of course my pants would tell a different story. 🙂
Last week I went and got my new running shoes. It was such a cool experience to have someone really watch the way I run and suggest the shoes I should try. My girlfriend and I tried on several different pairs of shoes until we found the ones we liked the best. The funny thing is we ended up with the exact same shoe!
So now I’m ready to run my 5k in just under 2 weeks.. EEK! Actually I just want it to get here because I’ve been looking forward to it for so long. Since this is the final week I have not only my scale pic, but also my measurements again and a current full body pic.
DOWN 6.4 LBS!!!
You should have seen me when that number popped up. I screamed and started jumping around my bathroom. This was HUGE for me. Last week we were painting the interior of our house which included the kitchen. Needless, to say we ate out quite a bit last week but I was extremely conscious of my choices and portion sizes. It was easy to get my workouts in because I was having to keep the kids busy since they couldn’t really play inside.
If you’re wondering that’s a total of 16.6lbs since January 17th. 🙂
- Arms: 13in (-0.25)
- Bust: 40.75in (-1.25)
- Waist: 38in (-2)
- Hips: 42.5in (-2.25)
- Thighs: 22in (-1.5)
I’m not really surprised that my arms and thighs didn’t go down a bunch. With running and strength training, I’m building musle. The big accomplishment was that last week I finally caved in and bought small sized pants. My friends have been telling me for a while now that I needed to do it but I’m cheap and didn’t want to go spend the money right now. Well, after constantly having to pull them up I figured that I better get at least one pair that fit me well. I bought a complete size smaller and I’m not quite ready for the next size but I have a feeling it won’t be very long before I’m pulling this pair up too. It’s already a little baggy in the rear area.

And because I’ve come a long way.. a side shot.
I just gotta say to all the other Move it Lose it Challengers.. CONGRATS! We’re in the home stretch! Here’s to a lifetime of change. 🙂
