Have any of you read that book?

I love it, but this post isn’t really about that book. This post is about the 5 people and their blogs that I have been an avid reader of since I started blogging 3 years ago. This post is about the 5 people I want to meet before I go to heaven. (Thankfully, I already have met a couple. 🙂

It’s actually funny. All of these bloggers I started reading very early on and when I started trying to think of who I wanted to include in my top 5 bloggers I originally wanted to pick people that perhaps few have heard of. But see, the thing is. Even though these bloggers may be more well known I think there is a reason for it. They are all selfless and I think that is really what makes a fabulous blogger.

Mom Spark-Amy Bellgardt was one of those people that I think I started talking to on twitter within 6 months of creating Mad Hatter Mom. She was always happy to respond to my seemingly unintelligent tweets when I had questions. I actually began working with her on her Mom Made That! site, doing reviews when they were available. Then she created Mom Spark Media. I was all to happy to sign up and really I have been blessed with the community ever since. Not only have I had the opportunity to work with great brands through the campaigns that are offered but the sense of community is amazing.

Telling Dad-I truly cannot say enough kind words about Greg Zellers. I was introduced to Greg while watching an episode of Dad Labs. He was a guest and I laughed so hard that I immediately went to his blog and started following him on Twitter. I can always count on Greg to brighten my day with a quick tweet or even just reading a quick post on his site. He also has an amazing heart. Not only has he helped me personally but he gives back to the community whenever he can. Spurred by a tragedy, he has created the Sweet Dreams Fund in which he raises money to provide the kids who are victims of domestic violence a Sweet Dream Pack. It includes a pillow, stuffed animals, coloring books and crayons. Oh, and he’s tall. 🙂

The Daily Blarg-I get a bit teary eyed when I think of my sweet friend Stephanie Hansen. Not only is her site enjoyable to read because she can make a post about vacuums be entertaining and fun, but she is a beautiful woman. I followed Stephanie on twitter for quite a while before we ended up rooming together at EVO ’10. I may be so bold to say that we hit it off tremendously. She is one of those people that I can say my life is better because I have her in my corner. (And I can’t wait to see her at BlogHer ’11!!)

Good ‘N Crazy-Carissa Rogers was one of the very first people that saw enough in me to help me become a better blogger. She provided support, brain storming, and a listening ear when I was at the early stages of creating my site. Her site is the way I want this site to be. She has the most perfect balance of family and business posts, which is something that I struggle with constantly. She also just an amazing networker.

Party Planning Professor-Eli Norton was the first person who answered a question I had about blogging on twitter. Since that fateful day our friendship has blossomed across the miles that separate us. Although we’ve never met in person I consider her a very close friend. She has been my biggest supporter in everything I have done or try to do here. Plus, I love that fact that her site is really about celebrating the all life’s moments. She writes about parties because it really is those memories that are the long lasting ones.

For me it’s not just the site that makes a blogger fabulous. It’s their integrity. Their heart. Their unwavering dedication to support others. All of these people have qualities that I strive to possess and for that they are worth a visit.

So, who are your Fab 5?

Don’t forget to enter the 50 Fabulous Wishes contest for a chance to win $1,000 to celebrate a friend with a refreshing attitude about looking and feeling fabulous. I was selected for this Tropicana Trop50 sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do. I received compensation to use and facilitate my post.
