Saying goodbye to Tom #ChevyGirls

chevrolet cruzeThis is Tom.

Tom and I have been having an affair for the past week.

We have been sneaking off once the hubs gets home so that I could discover all the cool things he has to offer. However, I finally decided to break things off with him. See, he wasn’t very conducive to my family life.

I’m not going to lie. It was great while it lasted. I felt like I was back to my pre-kid days, when I could bump the Pioneer sound system as loud as I wanted. When I could don my shades, open the sun roof, slouch down in my seat and drive by a group of young’ins nice and slow just so they could see how cool I was.

*Sigh* Yes, those days are not conducive with family life. They don’t fit into the driving back and forth from school, then to dance class, t-ball, and play dates.

If my kids were a bit older I think Tom would fit perfectly in our life actually. But, while we still need booster seats it was time to send Tom on his way so that he could make someone else happy.

I will miss Tom greatly. I will always have fond memories of him and I have a feeling that we may perhaps meet again.

Until that time we’ve welcomed Eddie. I can’t wait to introduce you to him next week.

Drive true!
