No matter what anyone may saw, Two and a Half Men has been a hilarious show in all of it’s seasons.
Alan is by far my favorite character just because he is so neurotic. I think maybe it’s his own neurotic behaviors that either make me feel better about my own or make me thankful that I have someone to relate to.
For instance in one particular episode of season 8 Alan wants to buy a really nice gift for his girlfriend Lyndsey but as always he has no money. So, in only a way that he can he begins scheming for ways to get the money.
Personally, this reminds me of when I was in middle school and had a ‘boyfriend’ even though we didn’t really go anywhere or do anything. We just liked saying that we were together. Being in middle school I didn’t have a job so money was short to come by. Basically whatever I could get from my parents was all I had. When Christmas or Valentine’s Day came around and it was time to start looking for that perfect gift for the boy I was seeing I began offering to do every chore under the sun just to earn extra money. Sometimes I was successful and sometimes, not so much.
