Not too late to send Cheer! #Giveaway

cheerios send cheerLast month I shared with you all the campaign that Cheerios was running that allowed you to send a “CHEER” postcard to a military family showing your support for them.

While the special boxes of Cheerios are no longer being made you can still find them on the shelves, and the program is good until November of 2012! What this means is you have the next year to send a “sendCHEER” postcard and General Mills will donate $1 to the USO!

This is an amazing program and being a military wife I can’t tell you how much it means to me to see my husband supported. There is a certain pride I have when we are able to join him for lunch during work and when we go out a random person comes up to thank him for his service.

Regardless of your political beliefs the men and women of our military deserve you support. The sacrifices they and their families make each day because of their love for our country is not something to be forgotten.

So please, if you are at the store and happen to see one of these boxes on the shelves buy it, cut out the card and mail it in. It’s a simply thing, yet it can have such a huge impact on a military family to be shown the support.
