Taking a No nonsense approach to fashion

This post brought to you by No nonsense. All opinions are 100% mine.

I admit it.

I am a bit fashionally challenged.

Now that I own my own business and meet with clients on a weekly basis, I realized that my mom wardrobe of jeans and t-shirts just wasn't going to cut it.

The last several weeks I have set out to add some clothes to my wardrobe that I can wear for business meetings, but also some pieces that I can incorporate into my everyday wardrobe and maybe look a little more put together. (Not there there is anything wrong with jeans and t-shirts, just sometimes it feels good to look good.)

One of the trends that I am loving right now is tights with boots. I have pinned more than my fair share of outfits on Pinterest that include boots and tights. That's why I really like No nonsense tights and leggings, not only do they come in an array of colors, but they are very affordable and can be picked up at almost any food & drug stores as well as retail stores.

polyvore pop of color businessI'm really scared of color when it comes to picking out an ensemble for a business meeting. I realized that most of my clothing choices are in the greys, blacks and brown hues. I've started trying to add a pop of color and tights or leggings are a great way to do this.

Check out the outfit I put together. It's colors I'm comfortable with, but the No nonsense tights add something really great to it. What do you think?

No nonsense has teamed up with fashion expert Jill Martin who will be their Brand Ambassador. I can't wait to see what tips and tricks I can glean from her and use in my own styling decisions.

Now I need to go do some online shopping and see if I can find some of the pieces for my new outfit that won't break the bank. 🙂

Love the purple tights, but those heels would kill my back. 🙂

  2. I hate dressing up. But I’m really trying to work on it for the new year. I have to look at a magazine in order to get outfit ideas.
