pepperidge farmIf you have kids chances are Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers are a staple in your household, but Pepperidge Farm is so much more than Goldfish crackers.

There aren’t very many brands that have a product portfolio bigger than Pepperidge Farm. The story of Pepperidge farm started with just a loaf of bread that was baked by found Margaret Rudkin in her Connecticut home. That recipe was created in 1937 because her son had allergies to common preservatives. It was also the basis of the flourishing business that we all know and love today, and it celebrates its 75th anniversary this year!

My kids say it’s the Mott’s #Giveaway

There are 2 things that are always in abundance in our household.

Apples and fruit snacks.

I honestly don’t know how fruit snacks became such a staple in our house. I do remember when my son was younger, they were an easy treat that we could pack in the bag with us in case he wanted a snack while we were out and about. Since then they have become something we constantly keep in the snack bin which is used daily.

motts medleys fruit snacksWe recently tried Mott’s® Medleys Fruit Flavored Snacks. They are made with real fruit & vegetable juice, from concentrate, and natural colors and flavors. Needless to say, my kids loved them. We tried 2 different flavors, assorted fruit and berry. Although they like them both, the kids like the assorted fruit a bit more than the berry.

Because they are so handy to take along with us, we’ve been enjoying them on our weekly bike rides to the library and park. I can throw them in the basket of my bike, along with some water bottles and off we go!

If you’re kids like fruit snacks then be sure to try Mott’s® Medleys Fruit Flavored Snacks, here’s a coupon for $0.60 off!

Oh, but wait, there’s more!

Going Organic for Franz Bread

It’s probably one of the most versatile foods out there. It can be used for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even dessert!

That’s really why I love bread so much. You can have chocolate, just give me a slice of toast with homemade Oregon strawberry jam on top and I am in heaven. And what better bread to be the platform for the Oregon jam than an Oregon bread??

Franz Bakery has been around since 1906, although the family behind the apron has been baking since way before that.

I’m super excited about Franz new line of organic breads. It’s so great to have another Oregon bakery offer organic bread, it really means another option for me to offer my family a healthy bread option with no HFCS. Now first let me say that I am not completely against HFCS. There are still things that my family and I eat that contain HFCS mainly because we can’t afford to buy completely organic. But I do try to limit the amount we eat, especially when it comes to things that we eat a lot of, like bread.

The Franz organic line of bread comes in 3 different flavors.
