Really loves to draw.

So much so, in fact, that I had to move my printer in my office to a high shelf so that she couldn’t reach the printer paper. The girl could go through a whole ream of paper in about 3 days I think. It’s also her love for drawing that has required me to stock up on crayons, colored pencils, and even markers during back to school time to last her throughout the whole year.

It’s great because there are no crayons, pencils, or markers to worry about. I don’t know how many times she has gotten up and her drawing has travelled off the paper and is partially on the table.

I’ll take “Locks” for $400 Alex

Wordlock is the brain child of Todd Basche, Engineer and CEO. Todd was led to this brilliant invention, much like all great minds are led to their discovery. Humiliation.

“I had a small swimming pool in the backyard with a fence and an old combination lock on the gate. That lock was my nemesis. It seemed the hotter it was outside, the less I could remember the combo. One Saturday, I’m so frustrated by this stupid lock I try to climb the fence. And I’m halfway over, and I’m sweating, and I slip, and my swim trunks snag, and I yell, and the neighbors are watching me like I’m crazy. That’s when I had the idea for Wordlock…right after I pulled my shorts up.”

For many of us, words are much easier to remember than a sequence of numbers or which key belongs to which lock. Wordlock allows the user to set the combination of their lock to a word of their choice. Even “Poop”.
