Getting Personal {ENDED}

I absolutely love giving personalized gifts. In my opinion it just makes the gift that much more special.

My dad’s birthday was last month.
He’s such a hard guy to shop for and it doesn’t help that he is constantly telling us not to get him anything. To give you a better idea of the type of guy he is; when we take HIM out to dinner he refuses to let us pay!

Anyway, I always try to cheat the system by getting him something from the “kids”. He can’t refuse that way. :)

So, this year I thought what better gift than pictures of the kids. I took the kids to the park and started snapping pics of them. I must have been in an incredibly stupid ambitious mood because I decided a picture of the two of them TOGETHER would be perfect.

Twenty minutes and 75 pictures later I finally got a shot of them where they weren’t fighting looked adorable.

I absolutely LOVE it!

dakota close upI don’t think I can accurately describe how great the frame is. From what I can tell it is two tones of wood and they use a machine to cut the top wood exposing the one underneath. So the dimension is really cool.

My dad was quite surprised and the photo and frame are proudly displayed in the living room. :)

A Special Delivery

Yesterday my daughter turned 3.

Oh my, but it doesn’t seem like yesterday that I was squeezing her gorgeous little self out of my woo-ha. Good times.

But seriously, in honor of my baby not being a baby anymore, I’ll be doing a special giveaway event starting today and ending March 3rd.

I loved the flower petal what were inside the fairy tutu. Probably the only thing that could have been different was the length of the ribbons on the halo. There were a bit long for my nugget and she stepped on them a couple times. It was however, easy to fix. I just trimmed a couple inches from the ends of the ribbons and we were back in business.

I had my daughter open this a couple days before her actual birthday. Her reaction was priceless.
